And we will continue to uphold this clear vision of how to build company-consumer relationship based on transparency, clarity and predictability. We also inform you that we may apply new approaches to personal data processing and all these changes will be clearly reflected in this Privacy Note update.
Scope of this Policy
How we collect information and what we use it for
When you use our Site, we may collect Personal Information you chose to share with us. For example, in the Contact Us section, you provide us your contact information. Our Services may use third party analytics and advertising cookies to better understand your intentions and organize our work so that it fully meets your expectations and business needs. The information collected may include, for example, time of visit, pages visited, referring site details, your country, platform type, etc. If you want to opt-out, you may download and install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add On for your web browser.
When you go to our contact page on the Website, you are asked to fill out the contact form and provide some basic information about you. This information is then stored in our CRM Database and later may be used to contact you regarding the issues you mentioned in the request, or for marketing purposes (see Marketing). Contact form data come to our Sales Team.

Before we get into that, let’s just see if we are on the same page regarding this issue. A cookie is a small file, typically of letters and numbers, downloaded to your device when you access a website. It serves as a unique identifier and helps us distinguish you from other users. When you open our Website next time, cookies stored on your device are sent back to the analytical centers (Google Analytics, Facebook or any other sources we’d like to use), so that we can say “Hello, nice to see you again”. Not personally, of course, because there are no personal data in cookies.

Disclosure to Third Parties
This Website is located in the US, North Virginia, all data collection happens here. PieSoft development center is situated in Belarus (Eastern Europe). The data collected by PieSoft may be transferred to our offices. PieSoft relies on derogations for specific situations as set forth in Article 49 of the GDPR. In particular, PieSoft collects and transfers personal data to the different offices only:
- with your consent;
- to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest of PieSoft in a manner that does not outweigh your rights and freedoms.
Security of your information
Piesoft maintains physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect the privacy of data you choose to share with us on our Site. We continually update and test our security technology. In addition, we train our employees the importance of maintaining privacy and security of our users’ information.
As described earlier, PieSoft collects and uses your personal data for marketing purposes as well. Your data will be stored in our CRM Database. We will use your data to contact you regarding the issues you mentioned in the Request Form. We may use your data to inform you about PieSoft products and services we think may be of your interest and send you our newsletters. But don’t worry, we won’t be intrusive. You can always opt out of our special attention by clicking on the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” link in the marketing emails PieSoft sends you, or by using the relevant opt-out mechanism for non-email based marketing (addressing our contact person, for example).
For statistical purposes, we collect information about your response to our emails and our interaction with you to make decisions on future marketing. If you want us to stop collecting and using this information, please address our contact person.
Data subject rights
Data storage and retention
We don’t have a retention period for your data which are collected from contact forms at this Website. We keep it to be able to reach you out when we have something relevant to your initial request.
Retention period for the logs of our web server is set to 3 days.
Retention period for the collected at this Website by third party providers (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, etc.) is set by them and is a subject of their terms and privacy policies.
Your data protection rights
According to US data protection law, you have the following data protection rights which you are entitled to exercise by contacting PieSoft on the contact details provided under the “Contact Details” heading below and in the right-hand side column:
- If you wish to access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal information, you can do it any time by contacting PieSoft.
- You have the right to object at any time to processing of your personal data or request portability of your personal information by contacting PieSoft.
- You can opt-out of marketing communications that PieSoft sends you at any time by using the relevant opt-out mail or non-email marketing mechanisms.
- Similarly, if PieSoft has collected and processes your personal information based on your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Please notice that the data from before the right of withdrawal was exercised may be used in our data processing and analysis.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority about PieSoft’s collection and use of your personal information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority.
You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, there is one exception to this rule. If your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, PieSoft may charge a reasonable fee to deal with the request or refuse to provide information at all. In most cases we respond to all legitimate requests within 40 calendar days of receiving it.
