The Customer is a large, nationally recognized, and accredited healthcare organization. The company’s extensive network in the United States, in particular, provides a variety of portable healthcare devices and diabetes testing supplies.

The Customer addressed PieSoft with the request to develop a medical supply chain CRM – a web application that will optimize the company’s interaction with current and potential customers and enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the management system.


The medical supply chain CRM system delivered by PieSoft provides authorized partners with a web interface to customer relationship management services. The CRM system for medical supply chain management enables the following key business processes:

Technical Overview

PieSoft fully qualified specialists performed the tasks closely with the Customer’s highly skilled team.

Currently, similar systems are present in limited variants on the market. The Customer and the development team decided application to make PHP5 based and implement it with the following technologies and frameworks: Symfony2, Bootstrap, SOAP, Rest API, JSON, WebSockets, Composer, cURL. MySQL based, PervasiveSQL, DynamoDB.

PieSoft integrated the medical CRM system with the following systems and services: FedEx, USPS, Medicare, Forte Interactive Voice Response, SureScripts, RelayHealth, Cerner Multum, Brightree, Noble Direct, Voice Broadcasting Corp.


The application was fully deployed and is currently enabling to meet the fundamental goal pursued by the Customer – that of driving sales, facilitating cooperation, and complementing operations of the company’s authorized partners in all different areas of the healthcare industry.
