Now would be the time to come clean and admit: we’re all runners here in PieSoft, and yes maybe we are addicted to the act. We have all seen it, once again, on September 9, 2018. That Sunday, the Minsk Half Marathon was held for the fourth time and featured about 35,000 participants, including 20 PieSoft runners.
A flat, scenic course lead us through the city’s most beautiful spots: wide avenues, modern buildings, quiet streets and atmospheric Trinity Suburb. The organizers offered different races to meet everyone’s goals: the half marathon itself (13.1 miles), 10k (6.2 miles) and 5k (3.1 miles). The 21.1km race kicked off near the Palace of Sports at 9.00 and gathered together both professionals and amateurs.
This race was an exciting challenge for PieSoft to test what we call team spirit. Indeed, when you are running on your own, time is your key result. But in team race, it is essential that everyone reaches the finish line! To do this, you have to use not only your legs, but also your head, and even your heart worried about your colleagues. PieSoft successfully coped with this task! The proof to that are the medallions for the Run, the fire in the eyes and the desire to soar to new heights together.
